Southbrook Y.F.C Samurais Under 11's

Team Biography

Samurai's started back in 2019 where they were formed from the incredible star sessions. We still have many in the current team who came through stars and have been with us on this footballing journey. We have been lucky to have other great players join our ever amazing footballing family along the way. 

Us as coaches encourage them to play with freedom and a smile on their faces. We play attractive passing football with a never give up attitude that has been seen many time with them overturning losing positions. We let them learn as they play and help to improve their skills during our training sessions. 

It's a very close team with parents and  teammates building close bonds and friendships outside of football. We are looking forward to the upcoming season where we aim to keep improving and moving up the leagues as like seasons before. 

We are always open to players joining our team whatever their experience is within the footballing world. 

If you ever get the chance to watch this great bunch of kids play we can guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Mental Health Support Officer

As of the 2023/24 season, the committee have introduced a Mental Health Support Team, with each club having their own Support Officer to be the port of call for anyone suffering with mental health. 

The volunteer for Samurais is Tracey Spanner.
